I hired this company to build the frame to my dream house. From the begining everything was shady. Once I gave them my deposit, I knew something was wrong. The company does not have a website and run their "business" out of their home that they live in with many people.

The mother, Roxana Casraneda, supposedly runs the company and barely speaks English. The father and son, both named Carlos Castaneda run the construction side of things and only employ illegal immigrants who are not insured. Be careful in letting these "employees" on your property as they are all illigal. 2 of them filed lawsuits against MY insurance for getting hurt on the property since the company does not have insurance.

When they were half way through with construction, half of the structure fell due to bad workmanship and they tried to charge me for the repair saying that it was an "act of God". Are you serious???? It was an act of bad workmanship.

When the frame was complete, I could not find any builders that would build on that frame. I was told by at least three other builders that the wood that was used was not home building and was not treated and was subpar quality that had many bows in it.

In the end, I had to have then entire frame rebuilt by a reputable company and Castaneda Framing would not refund me one dollar. I am in a lawsuit with them now. Do not give this company a dollar of your money. They do not build homes...they destroy dreams.
