I worked as an independent contractor for a company called CASTFORCE last year. I was told i could go to their site and select the projects I wanted to complete. I reserved and completed several. in addition, my manager Caren Depro called me to do a few which i completed. I work for several companies as an indepent contractor. One day Caren called me and asked me to do a project that required me to travel several miles yet the project was only paying $10.00. I told her I could not because I hade another appointment. She proceeded to tell me it was my job despite her telling me i wasnt obligated to do any assignment except the ones i reserved. Besides it being a one time project for $10.00,  it didnt pay mileage. I refused. Caren hung up on me, blocked my account and refused to return my calls. The calls were about the other 13 projects I had completed but had not been paid for. After several unreturned calls to Caren, I called CASTFORCE customer service. I was told the invoices had been submitted but two of the 13 were blurred and could not be read. I was given an email address and resubmitted them.

To date, one year later I have not been paid. I was in a car accident shortly afterward and went out on a medical leave. I returned to working recently and one of the first calls I made was to CASTFORCE. I gor a voicemail to send an email with any questions. I also called the number that was previously my managers, caren depro. I was routed to the voicemail of another manager. I leff a message regarding the issue but never recieved a return call.

 

I advise everyone considering working for this company to look elsewhere. Their customer service is non-existent and their managers are unreachable. I am writing this report because to date, nearly one year later I have not been paid for work i completed. Read the reports, there are others like me.
