Lana Veenker seeks to blacklist some talent agencies and thus her clients never get to sample most of the best talent (including SAG) if they belong to an angency she is not friends with. She sells annual "how to" classes relative to tv series she finds talent for but does not explain to the students that she will not see them if she dislikes their agent. She will not return phone calls to discuss her negative actions. She sells actor training classes which are not licensed by the Dept. Of Ed. Vocational Training div. She sell photography services, she competes with production companies.

In California her doing these things would be considered restraint of trade, blacklisting, unfair competition, amongst other potential crimes but Portland talent agents cowtow to her and O.M.P.A. allows her to do it because the two have formed a 'good old boy club' which benefits some agents who pay and hurts those that do not pay.

Most of her big Grimm episodes were cast in LA by Donna Rosenstein. Yet Veenker acted like the main casting director.

I estimate that she makes in excess of $30,000 each time she sells these 'how to get booked' courses. Then she goes to Paris each year with your money while her minions will not cast you or even give you a fair chance.

CSA should enforce against this because of their printed policy about equal opportunity but they ignore it.

SAG should be the enforcer here but they have no backbone in Oregon. The fact that SAG actors can be in an agengy restrained by Veenker goes unnoticed here. This will not last.

Veenker's minions regularly warn talent agents that they willnot make much money in Oregon.
