I am beside myself with the way I was treated by this company. I scheduled a pickup of my car, my mother took the day off and no one ever showed up to pick it up. I had called three times that day to confirm the vehicle would be transported and heard a different story every time. Finally one of the dispatchers told me that she had great news someone would come get the car for $100 more it was after 6pm. I had scheduled this pick two weeks before and for the quoted price. I was so angry I requested my money back. What company does this, communicates one price then asks for another? I would have never heard from them if I hadnt called, my car would have never been picked up and they would have just taken my money. How does a company that takes on the huge liability of shipping cars not track where the drivers are to tell customers in advance? I should have known better, the price they quoted was so low that I should have known it was some kind of scam, they never sent a receipt or email confirmation and kept arguing with me that they did. Why argue- just send it! I sent several emails to the company demanding my money back and rather than contacting me to discuss the matter a person named Kathleen Russell contacted my mother's number and ranted about what a great organization they were and I was mistaken. She left three messages, every time she was cut off by the machine she would call back. I was APPAULED. I had left my cell phone, email and work phone number for a response and they call my mother's number? She was never the customer it was harassment as far as I'm concerned. The company finally returned my money after I wrote another email to the organization regarding the unprofessional and ridiculous messages left on my mother's answering machine. How a company operates like this is absolutely unbelievable. I've shipped 3 cars and never had an experience like this. I lost a sale of the vehicle due to this company and all they have done is be defensive, argumentative and unprofessional. I never received any receipt from them for any of our transactions including the refund, they kept lying and saying they had proof of email then said they had the wrong email address. Total scam and totally unprofessional, defensive individuals who have no idea how to run a business or provide customer service. To this day all they have done is argue with me, never did they apologize or explain why my car was never picked up. I'm appalled with them. Do yourself a favor and stay FAR away from this company. Use Direct Auto Transport - they are the ones that cleaned up Castle's mess.
I recently wrote a review of this company on a reputable review site that specializes in auto transportation. They flagged that I was not a customer to try to have it removed, I sent proof of the debited deposit and it has been reposted. They have never contacted me personally to address their lack of customer service, they just argue, lie and make it worse for the public.
