CCA - First National Card ripoff dishonest sales techniques Las Vegas Nevada

I was called by the people at First National, I'm not sure how they got my number, who told me that they were there to help me establish credit. They were an online / catalog credit card that reported to the three credit bureaus. I told them that there card wouldn't help me since I didn't shop online. He then asked me what I would use a credit card for and I told him small purchases like a tank of gas, just to establish some good credit. He then told me that I could use their card for that as well. I could withdraw cash and then buy my gas.

He made it sound as though it were an ATM card. I asked him if I could use it at the gas station. He said no you would have to withdrawl the money to take to a gas station. then you could get gas. I then asked him if I used it at an ATM machine and he said YES. I paid $200.00 down on this because he said that since I didn't have credit then it would be like a pre-paid deal. Since I started searching different ways of establishing credit, I've heard pre-paid several times so this time didn't raise any bells. Well I got my "gas card" today and it was noting like I was told. It was not ATM accesible, and the $200.00 I paid was a set up fee, not a first down. I found this web site and followed the instructions to get a refund. We will see what happens in a weeks time. My bank is working on it.
