This company (CCA) takes consumer deception to a whole new level. BEWARE! This pre-approved card is a scam! Notice that there is no Visa/Mc logo on the card. The fineprint even states that this isn't really a credit card at all, only a membership card! And a membership card to nothing. That's right, there's nothing to be a member of.... Notice that this company doesn't even have a website. When you call the phone number provided, the very unprofessional Customer Disservice Representative will not give any information about the company, program, card,etc.. until you provide your SSN and banking information. Any hesitation is met with complete belligerence by the representative. (I'm guessing that making a living trying to con hard-working people out of their money is quite stressful and tends to make one cranky.)

My 18 year old daughter received this pre-approved card in the mail several days ago, as did several of her high school friends. Since I knew she hadn't actually applied for a credit card, I was curious as to why this offer showed up with the card already included. My first reaction was anger because of the potential for anyone to have intercepted the envelope during the delivery process and subsequently steal her identity and ruin her credit. After taking a more thorough look at the offer, I immediately realized that something wasn't right and I logged on to Ripoff Report to check them out. As I suspected, the offer is just another scam, created to separate the unwitting from their money. Preying on teenagers who are new to the credit system should earn these bottom feeders a special place in hell.

I've read most of the complaints against this company that have been listed on this website and it's great that we have this resource to help warn one another about fraudulent companies such as this. But we need to do more. If you took the time to log on and research them, please take another minute and file a complaint with the Nevada Attorney General's Office and the BBB of Southern Nevada. I'm providing the necessary links below. Unfortunately, for every person who realizes this is a scam, there are most likely going to be 10 or so who fall for it, and in doing so keep these bastards in business.
