On November 20th of 2009 around 9am CST I purchased ( or so I thought I purchased ) a refurbished Blackberry RIM 7100i and Boost mobile conversion software from berrysmartphones.com using my paypal account. The two items cost a total of $36.90. I have been charged for these items, and as of December 1st, 2009 I still have not gotten the merchandise I paid for.

  I sent an email to the customer service email addy on the website on the 23rd of November asking when my items would be shipped out. Someone calling them self Linda Manning responded back telling me the items would probably be shipped out the next day. On Wed I sent them an email asking to have my order canceled due to how long it has taken them to ship out the merchandise. They never responded back to that email.

I then tried to contact Mr. Reed by this phone number, 1-401-569-5862, this is the contact number he has listed with paypal. The number is no longer in service, and it was for a company in Providence, RI called A-Plus construction and remodeling. I then looked up the contact information for the website berrysmartphones.com and got the number 1-401-433-2124, and this number is listed in the providence RI phone book as belonging to Mr. Reed. I have been trying to contact him at this number, but no one answers it.

On the 28th of November I opened a dispute on the paypal website concerning this matter, and Mr. Reed still has not responded to it. I even sent him an email to the service addy on his website informing him of the dispute.

All I want from this company is either a refund, maybe the items I paid for and an apology for making me have to go through all this. By the way it looks though, I may have better luck pulling out my own teeth by hand.

If anyone else has had a bad experience with this company, please inform others of it so it does not happen to more people.

Well the same day I posted my complaint on here I emailed a link to berrysmartphones. We've had some email communications with each other, and could not resolve the matter. I asked for a refund, and he wanted the complaint removed before giving me a complete refund immediately. I wrote back informing him that complaints can't be removed from here, and he sent an email back telling me to let paypal do their thing.

So now the dispute on file with paypal has been moved up to a claim.
