Beware of these people! I worked for them for 2 months and found out all there terrible business secrets. They t charge you whatever they want for the phones and have no real management. They all r supposed to be managers when ever you ask them for one. They steal from there own employees also by charging you for stuff someone else took. Also there is NO hourly wage its full commission which means you could sit there for 12 he's and not get payed for anything, and trust me it happens all the time. They push you to overprice the phones cause that's the only way your going to make it. Charge backs on commission is 6 months and that's not all. IPhones themselves you only get $50 for but if it comes back you have the charge back plus the full price of the phone which is about $300 so you end up losing about $350 in one phone that was brought back. they make it seem like its great but its really not. There also r no benefits and the schedule is bull crap.

Good place to work.

AUTHOR: 160 SWIFTLY - (United States of America)

Cellular Sales is the place to work if you are in this industry. I have worked at many wireless companies over the last 12 years but in the 5 months that I've been here the Market Directors have helped me out with some things on a personal level , my Team Lead has gone to bat for me for a promotion, and my coworkers have all been very helpful. I was offered a decent benefit package, flexible schedule and the pay is great if you show up to work. There are days you will make little money but there are days you make a killing, it all averages out.  A driven individual will do well here,  If you want to be paid just to show up this isn't for you.

I want to also set things straight about our business practices and ethics. We sell our equipment for exactly what Verizon Wireless prices theirs for online. Sometimes there are mail in rebates so the price will be higher upfront but in the end the price is the same. We provide our customers an experience they won't get at other wireless stores for instance; no sign in (you are not a number to us), no rushed sales (you come in and are immediately greeted and offered a seat. We are here to listen to you), no high pressure smart phone upselling (although we may explain the benefits), and service after the sale (each customer has a direct connection to their sales rep via reps cellphone number). what more could a customer ask for?

I just want to set a few things straight.  I have worked for Cellular Sales for about five months now, and I really enjoy working for this company.  Yes, there is no hourly wage, and some days you may not make very much.  But some days you will make quite a lot; it evens out to a decent paycheck.  We do not have store managers, as we are all trained to handle the duties that would be assigned to such a manager.  The reasoning behind this is that the lack of a manager (and the costs associated) allows more commission to be paid to the sales reps.  With extra commission comes extra responsiblity.  As de facto managers, we are expected to prevent theft, and will be held accountable if something is stolen.  In practice, items rarely go missing.  Chargebacks are common practice in the wireless industry, but are really not a burden so long as you sell properly, and sales training is provided.  As far as benefits, medical, dental, and vision insurance are available to every employee after three months of employment.  I also love the way we schedule.  We pick our own shifts, and are free to trade them as we please.  If you want a day off, simply find someone to cover your shift.  If you want to work on your day off, simply find someone who wants their shift covered.  I realize that this may seem different from the average workplace, but that is what I love about it, and everything I have covered is explained to everyone that we hire before they come on board with the company.  The last thing I have to say is that the people are awesome.  From the sales floor the whole way to the top level, I have found everyone I work with to be professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
