CENTRAL AVENUE CHRYSLER CENTRAL AVE CHRYSLER RIPOFF YONKERS New York

THIS IS IN REGARDS TO THE WORST DEALERSHIP IN NEW YORK..
On July 24,2009 I went to This dealership looking for a new car under the cash for clunkers program, having already researched my current vehicle and seeing it met all the guidelines I wanted to look for a new car. I found a Dodge Avenger I spoke to salesperson, Ross Brownstein who also informed me I did qualify and all I would need to do is produce the requested documents that showed I was the owner for at least one year and that the car was also insured for that time. I went back the following day with all the documents in hand had them make copies for verification and put a deposit on the car. I was then told my new car would be ready by Tuesday, Tuesday rolled around and I see they are stalling which makes me suspicious that something is up. At this time I am told the car would not be ready until Wednesday and that I should bring up my old car Tuesday night sign the contract make final payment and come back on Wednesday to get the car. Sensing hesitation in the salesman's voice, I declined to do so and advised Ross that I would be in Wednesday to finalize all the paper work and give them my car at that time. I sense hesitation in his voice but he agrees and tells me that if anything he would call me. After wasting all day Tuesday with them playing games To tell me no the car is not ready but come bring your car make payment and take it tomorrow .At 8pm on Tuesday I receive a call from Ross stating that I need to speak to the Finance Manager "Dan " who proceeds to tell me well your car will not be ready tomorrow because we need to get your car in, payment made and then when the Government issues a check to us you can have your car ...which can be up to 10 days or more. I was very upset at this point and asked why was I not told this when I first came in, it was apparent that they are scamming people to give in there car sign papers and pay for the vehicle knowing they have no intention of releasing it to you. When I questioned him about this he became nasty started raising his voice yelling if you want the car that's what you will do and he slammed the phone in my ear. I called the GM. The following day named Kevin and he also told me that that's the way the program works, but by this time I spoke to someone at Cars.Gov and I was told that is not how it works that once the cars meet the rules then the dealer once the deal is made and the new car is paid for they must give you the new car. Of course I cancelled the deal and requested a refund of my deposit They are Out and Out Scamming people making them sign contracts and then advising them of the fact you wont get your car. Fortunately I was smart enough not to fall for it and that's what upset them I am sure mine will not be the only letter you receive. If I were told from the beginning of this I would have chosen to take my business else where rather then waste my time, be badgered and harassed by the likes of them. No other dealer was trying to pull this .... and the owner Jonathan Grant is also and out and out liar !!! They Lie and cheat the people they want you to sign a contract and they they stick u by not producing the new car STAY AWAY ...If anyone else had a similer story contact me
