On March 18, 2016 i received a letter addressed to a number The letter stated that my account had been turned over to Central Billing for collection. Something I know nothing about nor what the charge is for since none of this was any where in the letter. The letter stated if I did not contact them within 30 days it would be consider vailed and would affect my credit.
They are asking for a credit card payment, I do not have a credit card. I am 67 years old but not a stupid one. These companies need to be sanctioned or but out od business. The first time a letter like this cause a heart attack or a husband to beat his wife for spending money she didn't someone will be paying not collecting.
On the back of the letter it states "Collectors may use false or misleading statements or call you at work if they know or have reason to know that you may not receive personal calls at work". How can any business print this statement on a letter.
