I too have apparently been scammed by Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc. and they seem to deliberately make it impossible to reach by phone or correct.

1- I made the mistake of ordering a small sample with freight only of their Acai product in November

2- I received a shipping notice and got bottle shortly after notice

3- I tried it three days and experienced severe stomach cramps. Since this was only change to diet, I stopped taking product. The next day, cramps stopped. Coincidence? By the way, I read of other gatro complaints on the internet re using this product.

4- I decided not to return bottle due to shipping and put it down to a bad mistake.

5- In checking my credit card, I found a $44 charge on 12/8. I did not know what this was for and checked, Central billed me. I did NOT order anything more from them. I had not received anything else.

6- What is worse is an additional 12.95 charge from a company I never heard of. On calling number supplied by my cc company, I was told I was signed up by a third party and info was sent in mail. Since when does a mailer (which I didn't get) allow charging account. At least this company was ethical. They said they would cancel charge though they would not reveal thwe third party who provided my billing info, I suspect it may be Central Coast since it immediately followed their billing and I hadn't dealt with any other new companies recently. Further, I do not use card for much so process of elimination seems to indicate Central gave out my cc info.

7- I tried many times to reach telephone number listed with cc charge. I was told wait was 25 or more min. I'd wait then get disconnected,

8-I cancelled my cc for fear of more unauthorized charges

9-I emailed Central many, many times. I finally got response yesterday saying sorry cancelling and that if I kept new shipment I could deduct $15

10-I never received any new shipment

11-The email did sau it was shipping soon...strange that billing was on 8th and after they find I cancelled card, they indicate shipping even though I said I never rec'd and do NOT send. Also, it is normal business practice to inform of shipping. I did not receive any such notice when they billed on 8th --only after complaint.

12- I even doubt if I'll get this for many people write on net that they are billed for something not ordered and never receive. Some say receive then can't get through on phone for return number. Others are socked with large re-stocking charge

13- I did NOT order more product. They claim they have it in agreement ---sort of hidden. This too me is scam. The product likely made me ill. I was billed without my authorization. My cc info may have been passed ontyo a third party.

How can I get the $44 removed. What do I do since they now say sending ...I wrote and said to stop or recall. I will be away and even if really sent, who knows where it will go.

This is a company with numerous complaints online. Just imagine how many more people don't post.

We are in tough economic times and citizens do bot need a at best misleading and at worst a deliberate rip-off of their money.

I am a disabled Senior though still working hard in helping others. I have a radio program (from home) plus articles appear on major sites. Do I need to take them on air and in print? Perhaps that is one important step.

I need help now.Stop this company...warn others...help me get full refund.

If you call, there is rarely a hold time, and if you e-mail don't forget to check your spam e-mail box for the response. The Customer Care Department is available to help you 24 hours Mon-Fri and from 8-5 MTS Saturdays and Sundays. We recommend referencing the terms of the offer at the website you placed your order from. Here is an example of the terms, taken from the order page of one of the products PomegranateClear.

Terms & Conditions: You are ordering the PomegranateClear 14-day risk-free trial offer for only $4.95 shipping and handling. Your 14-day trial begins when you receive the product. If you are not satisfied with PomegranateClear for any reason just return the unused portion anytime before the end of the 14-day trial period and you will have no further obligation. The credit card you provide today will be billed the low price of $39.95 plus $4.95 shipping & handling for a total of $44.90 when each new product ships. That's 20% off the regular price for a 1-month supply. You may cancel your membership during the trial period or any time thereafter by simply calling our Customer Care department at 1-888-692-8352 or by using our contact form at www.getorderhelp.com. Remember, most customers see noticeable results by using PomegranateClear consistently for 3 months. If you are not fully satisfied with future shipments you may return any unopened containers of within 30 days of receipt for a full refund less the shipping and a 15% restocking fee. Please read the full Terms and Conditions for complete details of this offer.

CENTRAL COAST NUTRACEUTICALS, INC. SCAMS PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY

AUTHOR: Kh - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 23, 2008

CENTRAL COAST NUTRACEUTICALS, INC. SCAMS PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY FOR PRODUCTS NOT ORDERED OR SHIPPED LARGO Florida

As many other people have reported, I also received extras that were not ordered. I only ordered the free trial. I was charged around $40.00 for each of the 2 free trial products. I spent appx. 2 hours on hold to get this taken care of, I was told I did not deselect the box for the extras. I have since been charged 4 more times in December for products I didn't order and have not received. When I talked to customer support the first time, I told them I did not want to receive any more of their products. I called my credit card co. today to dispute these charges and they were very willing to help. The credit card co. said they have seen alot of these complaints about this company. I tried again this morning to get through to the company and it would be apprx. an hour wait.( 2 days before Christmas, I dont have an hour to waste.) I found a web site through them to cancel your membersip. The web address is www.getorderhelp.com I hope this is helpful.

Merry Christmas,

Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc Apparent Major Scam & Ignoring All Attempts to Correct Largo, FL & Phoenix, AZ Arizona - Let's Make An Example!!!

We are in tough economic times and citizens do not need a at best misleading and at worst a deliberate rip-off of their money. I am a disabled Senior though still working hard in helping others. I have a radio program (able to use equipment from home with guests hooked into conference) which has had guests from U.S. Senate/House/State Secretaries of State/ Pulitzer Prize authors/ leading Constitutional lawyers etc...and most important - citizens. Have written articles appearing on major sites.

Do I need to take them on air and in print? Right now more than ever, Americans do not need rip-offs such as this company seems to be perpetrating. Perhaps this company should be poster child of citizens taking action. Maybe this is one important step. Though I need help now.Let's STOP this company...warn others..and yes, I want full refund as well! Mary Southampton, Pennsylvania
