Central Credit Services, Inc., Sherman Acquisition, LP, Resurgent Capital Services, LP Ascent Card L Rude and mean collectors and they don't care of I can't hear them!! They told me unless I pay them, and they wouldn't even let me ask any questions!! When I couldn't hear them, they got really smart with me. Jacksonville Florida

hahahaha...credit one bank is owned by Resurgent Group(I think so as per my info)...If you feel you are being harassed(they were rude) record the conversation and consult an attorney. I am not giving you more information as I don't know exactly what happened on your collection calls. If you are concerned about your credit then pay this off and if not then cant do anything to you except giving you collection calls(coz they will have to validate the debt in the court if they go legal and they don't go legal for small debts)...hahahaha

you work for a third party collection agency who buys old debts that are out the statute of limitations and then try to re-age them will bully tactics

I work for resurgent Capital and i am sorry to hear about all of this. LVNV Funding buys old debt from companies and trys to collect on the old debt. If you have no idea about this debt, as the other person who replied said, you do have the right to request debt validation. If you do so in Writing they will send you all info they have reguarding the debt. There is no reason anyone should treat you that way if you continue to have problems with any one agent, get their name and ask for a supervisor. I have worked for Resurgent for over a year and we train our Reps to treat our customers with respect. I know I do. Again I am sorry to hear this. You have rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act....You have the right to request written validation of any alleged debt that a collection agency is trying to collect. Take advantage of your rights by doing this. Send via Registered Mail with Return Receipt.

Do not speak with them on the phone. Do not let yourself be bullied by them to make a payment. They can't take your firstborn child and they can't send the sheriff over to have you arrested.
