Centurylink I was billed for a modem I was very clear I did not want. They billed me causing the 1st time boa didn't pay an overdraft. When calling, I had to prove they received the modem. they said they credited my account, but I had to pay the full amount plus another month at full rate. they will not refund my money or honor the contracted montyhly price because my 1st billing was $100 too much, causing it to be rejected. I signed up for intyernet service only, and they had a special rate if I signed up for automatic billpay, so I did. I was very assertive as to not buy or rent a modem because I would get one myself. Then the modem I r3efused was delivered while I was not home.

I sent it back with the supplied RMA instructions.   Thet eventually returned to complete the installation, and they damaged my exterier telephone box and left it that way.

I called them to see why I was being billed over $188 as I knew it would have bounced if they had previously taken the money out. My bill should have been closer to $65 for the 2 months. The lady I talked to issued a credit after I did her job af provong the modem was received. She transferred me toi find out why my auto bill wasn't working.

Evidently, they cancelled my billpay when the $188 was attempted to be charged. Again, I had planned on under $75 and their own advertizement indicated $51 for 1st bill. My $29 monthly fee required bill pay to be active. And I was at risc of losing inet service and other threats they deliverred.

Well, the next person I tralked to was rude and only talked when I did. I finally convinced her she needed to shut up when I talk and if she answerred in under 15 secinds she could also hear me. But she kept talking so lud I couldn't understand ebverything making her repeat it severakl times.

I was told I had to pay the entire $188 to keep my service because the refund of the modem was not yet active, Then I had to pay another $40+. They said they will not return my modem money and will only give me credit. And because my 1st billing was rejected, they wiould not honor the contracted price despite the fact it was their fault.
