Reporting that Century Link charges $50.00 for a reconnect fee and $20.00 for a late fee for paying your bill late therefore you can rack up $70.00 in "Other Fees" if you let your service get interrupted for any reason.
I tried to get them to waive some of the fees because I fell on a hard financial month but they simply said "Oh well".
The fees are double the monthly service charges.
DO NOT USE CENTURY LINK, YOU WILL BE SORRY, YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I know I have had hard times in my life and many times beyond my control. I remember when you called and said "Hey can you help me out a little?" That most companies would give a bit of a break and keep you as a customer. The hard nosed attitude with companies really pisses me off. Not only did they lose a customer here, but i very much doubt paying that extra $70 will ever happen.
Don't be a sucker, just have some respect for the customers that afford your company to exist!

Pay your bill on time...every time and it will take care of itself.

That's because a business in there to make a profit and NOT be a social agency.
They can't and won't make allowances for everybody having a "hard financial month."
If your finances are that shaky, you should look at ways to economize.
No, I DON'T work for Century Link and never have.
