Certegy Payment Recovery Services Trying to steal identity St Petersburg Florida

I received a letter from this company in May claiming that I had issued an electronic check for a relatively small amount in April of this year that bounced. The odd thing was that the letter was issued in my maiden name and I have not had an account in my maiden name for six years. It also claimed that the check was written to my very own bank. Instead of responding to the company I went straight to my bank and asked them to investigate it.

Two months later I received a letter from my bank claiming that this company and possibly an employee of the bank were stealing records and trying to steal indentities. I was also told that the bank had already alerted the credit reporting agency to tell them what was going on. The bank specifically told me not to respond to the letter at all!! I received a secong later a few days ago claiming basically the same thing. I called the number just to see who would answer and the number was no good. A recording gave another number to some kind of 800 talk line and you could not talk to anyone.
