Certified Overhead Garage Doors, Inc Terrible Garage Door Repair, unethical, create problems so they can bill for more work Houston/Katy Texas, Internet

I had contracted Dillon; owner of Certified Overhead Doors, to install a new garage door opener in my house.  He was not available during the evenings so I had to adree to let him be in my home without me during the day.  As I arrived home that evening, he was just pulling out of my driveway which worried me...he didnt even want to let me inspect the work.  Additionally, I thought he might have stolen something.  I was able to waive him down and question him. 

Immiediately following the installation, we had daily issues of the door not opening & closing.  As we called in questining why, they just had me adjust the up/down force which did not resolve the issue.  Once Dillon finally agreed to come out, he realized it was becuase the sensors were not in line which is another reason for the complaint.  None of the garage door accessories were installed...he left all the old components on. 

We also noticed now that the gargae door was not level; when it closed, there was a 2 inch gap on the right side.  At the time, I just assumed it had been wrong previously and that he adjusted it...after all; he is supposed to be a professional and the people who built the house were just contractors.  Welll, as you guessed it, shortly there after, the springs busted forcing the door to come down unequally and bent the rails.

After calling over & over for 4 days, he refused to fix the issue and then began cussing at me when I told him I would report him.

Obviously...dont EVER use this company.  Not only do they perform shotty work, but it appears they purposely create future problems so you have to call them back out ona  billable ticket.
