I received an email from this company requesting I fill out a 5 minute online application, which I did.  I received a phone call from her the same day which was the actual phone interview. The interview consisted of nothing short of a sales call on her behalf selling this company to me, giving me reasons to want to be a part of their sales team, which sounded pretty good at the time.

I was "hired" at the end of the phone interview and told to expect a Fedex package the next day, which only consisted of a presentation manual to use when going to "appointments", and couple of applications and leases to fill out if I sold a deal.  Please take note that during my phone interview, I was never asked for my ss#, driver license number, or asked how I would prefer to be paid, although I was told I would be paid via direct deposit into my checking account or could purchase a debit card issued directly through them.  I did not receive a direct deposit agreement, no W-2, no paperwork to fill out to actually make me an employee of this company.

I went through the 6 hour webinar, which required me to be on the phone the entire time.  After webinar was over, was assigned to my Team Lead, whom I spoke to that evening and again the following morning when he gave me my first "appointment", which when I arrived at the business, the lady claimed to have already explained to someone from the company over the phone that she did not wish for an appointment and that she was not interested.

My 2nd "appointment" was directly after this one, I got to the business which was not even open yet, and there was nobody there.  I was told to wait 3 hours until they opened and go back.  They had no more "appointments" for me until that time.  When I did go back, the business owner was not expecting to see me, as she had told the company over the phone that she was absolutely not interested.

The Team Lead basically then told me to start going to the surrounding businesses door to door until time to go to the 2nd "appointment".  I was to call him outside each business, give him the business name, call him after I introduced myself to the owner and put him on the phone with them, then call him again once I was outside the business.  I felt like his little puppet.  Within four hours before lunch time, my cell phone had 15 outgoing calls to him.  It's like he wanted to account for every second of my time, although I was not being paid for my time.  After I was unsuccessful at getting in a presentation within 2 hours of being out in the field, the Team Lead began to get aggressive with me, at times would have someone else answer the phone with him and be even more rude with me, which I actually believe now that he was the other person to answer the phone and muffle his voice.

Everything I have read on this website from others who have worked for this place I have found to be true just on my first day of work.  It didn't take me long to figure out that I was basically running the streets to gather up business and owner information and submit to the Team Lead so that he could have more sales leads, of which I was to receive no compensation.

Basically this company tells you what you want to hear and makes the job sound incredible, which if it was what they said it was then I'm sure it would be, but to tell employees that they have pre-set appointments only to send them out to businesses who have already told them no over the phone is just wrong, for the employee and for the business.

I'm glad I didn't spend any more of my cell phone minutes, 2 days time, and gas money running around like a puppet for these clowns.   These people are a joke, they have no conscience in taking advantage of innocent people and are probably sitting back laughing at all the circus ponies that have out there doing their bidding.
