When buying our 2003 GMC extended cab we did so with the commitment of the salesmen to sell our Tahoe, due to not being able to use it as a trade in. When we couldn't sell the tahoe we went back to the dealer for assistance and were denied.

Other problems occured within only 3 months of owning the truck we started noticing several rattles. When we took it to the dealer they said it was part of the vehicles harmonics and couldn't correct, but tried by rerouting a fuel line. Didn't work. I hate rattles, and wouldn't have bought for just that reason.

Next the window on the rear passenger side started leaking air. Took it in again and the window hadn't even been installed correctly when being built. It took 2 times before that was finally corrected.

The radio in the vehicle went out (a total 2 times and had to have new radios because of errors in the computer) and the dealership was supposed to have the vehicle ready by the time we left for vacation. When I went to pick it up it wasn't ready and I was told it would be the next day late. My Husband had to go up there and the salesmen we bought it from got in his face and cursed him, because we needed a vehicle that had a trailer hitch and they only wanted to give us a small car and had 4 days notice that we would need it.

The Cam Sensor went out when we were on are way out of town on vacation later in summer. Called the dealership and they told us to go ahead and drive it the rest of the vacation and bring it in when we got back. He said if it went out he would have someone come get us.

It still rattles, we worry about driving it scared something else might go wrong with the computer or the cam sensor or the transmission.

We tried to go to the dealer and turn the truck back in due to the lemon law and related legislature, but due to not having enough money to hire a lawyer we couldn't take them to court. They would not even attempt to right their wrongs and we were given the run around everytime we tried to contact them and get a supervisor's name. When we finally did get the actual Manager of the dealership he was not any help either and would not take the vehicle back only offered to let us use it as a trade in, which we still owed $26,000.

We will never buy another Chevrolet due to the poor customer service we have received.

NEIL SLOCUM was the salesman.
