Hi, my name is Susan.  My husband bought me a Char-Broil grill for Mother's Day.  The grill worked for about two seasons.  It was purchased at Lowe's and no one in the area can fix the grill.  Char broil did send me some new parts, but even my neighbor couldn't figure out how the grill works.  Now, it is sitting on my deck covered up and I can not grill like I would like to.  How can a product be sold in my area and can not be repaired.  I even called around and still it sits.  I just want my grill to work so that I can have an easier way to cook during nice days.  Can you find someone, please.

Hard to offer help

It's hard to offer help because you didn't state what specific model grill you have.  You didn't state what parts charbroil sent you.  Your grill came with an owner's manual which includes exploded parts views and a complete parts list.  Your husband or neighbor should be able to figure it out-it isn't that complicated. 

There are two systems with grills;  gas system and ignition systems. Is your problem with the gas or the ignition system?  Usually a problem will be with either the gas system (regulator) or the ignition system.

I have a 4 year old "Professional Series" that I purchased at Lowes.  It's been pretty good with no malfunctions whatsoever.  I really like the electronic ignition system (uses one A size battery.)
