I have had many issues with Charter in the past. Poor customer service who like about non existing black-outs. Cut our line by mistake instead of our neighbor...now charging us a fee that does not exist and try to lie their way around.

I paid my bill on 8/13/10, did not show up and the next day my husband saw there is still the balance, he made another payment not knowing i did the day before. Charter let the second that my husband paid went through and cancel my as it's not need. Then now, they charged me and extra $25 for them choosing to reverse one of the payments. After contacting the, they said, we didn't have enough fund to cover the other one and to contact our bank. Did that, confirmed we had more than 10 times of funds needed. They they claimed i put in the wrong credit card number. I did not used a cc, but a check with routing number. Then they said contact my bank for more info. I told them i have the statement with the date showing there is no reversal of and if i dont have enough my bank usually cover to charge me like $38 instead...non of this happened as i have more than enough fund and can send them a fax with the statement and dates. I also asked them who did the reversal, my bank or them. The claimed they did because we had two exact payment on two dates on after the other. They lied through their teeth and when asked for what happened, they keep blaming my bank which never got any charge at all....
