 Charter Communications has been my internet service provider for quite some time, 5 years or more. Calling for their amazing "Bundle" cost me a lot of money and headaches. Service tech didn't show. Frustrating being left a week without television service and 3 small children and nothing but "Sorry". Ok, I can handle that. Service tech comes out and my 55" flatscreen tv no longer works While he is at my home. He saw it working. Charter claims an electrical serge did this. Nothing else in the house nor the surge protector was harmed. The only change was performed by charter. The phone service was never installed and the person there to do it simply didn't know how. He was a nice guy and I appreciated the honesty. He clearly wasn't trained in this and told me he was new.

(I don't live in some old place or in the middle of nowhere. Nothing out of the norm here) All of my calls to Chartef reached different reps who always kicked me to the next. No one had a clue what to do. I just wanted out. They can't seem to get that right. I now have multiple amounts owed plus cancellation of prior tv service provider and a broken tv. Don't use Charter. Think you're going to save a little but after receiving incorrect info on the service itself, couldn't do what was claimed it could. Antenna gets better reception, 1 DVR short, can't install their own system, broke my TV and sent me a bill. Do Not Switch To Charter. That quick phone call cost me about $1,000 and a bunch of headaches!
