I am crazy for not catching these charges to my account but in the past they have been very small, because I had such a small credit limit.  Now however, they have ballooned and I started to notice.  Thus my actions followed.

I notice a $20 *Payment Protector charge to my account, I call Chase credit and asked what gives.  They replied that they can't touch that program because it is a 3rd party ordeal but were very nice and told me to call back during business hours to get in touch with Payment Protector.  The last question I ask the Chase rep is, "when does it say I signed up for this?" their response "2005."  I seriously started laughing, in 2005 I was deployed to Iraq and had neither a cell phone, or mailing address.  Thus I could not have signed up for this service myself.

In the meantime I wonder how much I have been charged, since 2005 I can figure out about $775 in charges!

So today, I just get off the phone with the Payment Protector people and they can't provide any documentation whatsoever that I signed up for this service.  They can confirm it was in Dec 2005, again I was in IRAQ, I have US Military orders to prove this.  Anyways, I basically asked to cancel my policy and the wonderful rep said sure, but asked to persuade me otherwise, which I decline.  Then, she was ready to go, but I said who do I need to speak with to get recoupment for previous payments, and she said absolutely "you will receive 100% reimbursement since the date this program was added to your account."....What really you are that honest that you are going to fully reimburse me, WOW!

I am very angry with this Payment Protector issue, however if they fully reimburse me I will call it a push.  On one hand, I was fraudulently, at least negligently, enrolled into this program without my consent (they have 0% evidence otherwise), but they are being very honest and diligent to get my money back into my account.  I guess they just got an interest free loan from me...

Had I ever used or attempted to use this service, my tune would be different, but as it stands I've never used or needed it. They said the credit will appear on my credit card within 1 to 2 billing cycles, so I'll report back then.

Wronged Youth, Since Chase is part of the Federal Reserve........

AUTHOR: Karl - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, April 16, 2012

it might be a good idea to send a copy of your Ripoff Report to Ben Bernanke, so he can alert all of the people who make up the Federal Reserve, right?

Anyone can 'Google' this- WHO OWNS THE FED?, and go to the site with the five charts to see that J.P. Morgan Co is listed in 'Chart 1'. (J.P. Morgan Co is also known as JPMorgan Chase.)

Feel free to 'Google' this- BANK EXECUTIVES PROFITING ON THE DEATH OF EMPLOYEES, and read the related articles on the web. At least one article states that JP Morgan Chase has $11 Billion in secret life insurance policies on its employees.

Then type in 411913 at this site and read Ripoff Report #411913 for additional information about these 'secret life insurance policies'.

In short, Chase is doing all they can to make profits. Trickery, deception, and manipulation, are the way that many companies and corporations operate in this country in order to make their profits. It's the main reason we had a meltdown in the banking sector back in 2008. And it is precisely why there will be another meltdown in the near future, in my opinion.

One last thing, make sure to 'Google' this- FRONTLINE: INSIDE THE MELTDOWN, and watch that video on the web in order to understand how the publicly held banking sector operates in the USA.

Good luck to you.

***NATIONWIDE ALERT: Make sure to stay at this site and type in- BANK, and read the Ripoff Reports from people all over America for important information if you have a bank account or a mortgage in the USA and spread it all over the web at sites like Twitter and Facebook.
