Chase Manhattan Due Date Changed Be-ware! Wilmington Delaware

Chase Manhattan has repeatedly run advertisements in which they allow one to choose the due date of their bill. In addition to this, I was setting up a 0% interest balance transfer from another card for a period of 12 months. Once I received my card and chose to activate it, I was asked what I would like my due date to be. I chose the 27th of the month. The customer service person tried to convince me to accept the 21st, but I was adamant. The 27th. This was allowe dand my first bill was due on the 27th. When I reviewed my second bill (which I checked a couple of days before the 27th), I realized they had changed my due date to the 21st. I spoke to customer service and was told they reserve the right change the due date at any time. I am very sure this is an attempt to send people into the default interest rate causing the 0% to become null and void. Be-ware!
