Chase Receivables Illegitimate Claims of Debt Sonoma California

Chase Receivable left the following bogus phone message.

"Hello, this mesage is for Dean {deleted}. If you are not Dean {deleted} please stop listneing and delee this message from any recoding device. I you are Dean {deleted} please hold for an important message. This is not a sales call. By continuing to listen to this message you acknowledge that you are Dean {deleted}. This call contains persoanl and private information. Please listen in private. This is a message from Chase Receivable. Please call us back ast 877-256-5210. That number once again is 877-256-2510. This call is froma debt collector. Thank you."

When you call they ask to verify personal information, which as a debt collector should already have. Notice the phone message contains no details either. When I said I was not going to provide them any personal information, they said they could not continue. To which, I replied. "Then I guess you will not be collecting anything." Chase said "good-bye" and hung up.

I'm a CPA with an 830 credit rating. I've spoken with debt collectors on behalf clients. Debt collector don't care if you're Bozo the Clown, as long as they collect and they don't give up that easy. I'm guessing this in an identity theft or bill fraud scam.
