On 7-20-13, I purchased 2 tickets for a concert in Tampa. $80 a ticket, $33.60 for service fees, $15 for 2-day delivery. Total $208.60. When I received the tickets today (9 days later not the 2 day delievery that I paid for and planned to present in a present), the copy paper printed copies (which I would've done myself had it been an option) showed the tickets were actually $59.50 plus $14.40 for "fees".

Regardless of the shady pricing of his ticket sales, I called to inquire about being refunded the $15 for the 2-day delivery since it took 9 days. Marcus Whiteis became belligerent and started making excuses. He said it was because I purchased on the weekend (a Saturday) so I asked why he didn't send it out on Mon-Fri. He became defensive and crude and raning about something about San Diego sports tickets or such.  I have no idea since I was speaking for concert tickets in Tampa.

So after him being so rude, I asked again if he planned on refunding my $15 (I figured it's my fault for not reading more about his supposed "service fees" of $33.60), he said "What? Are you callin' me out or somethin'?"  Well, yes sir, I am! I called back after he so unprofessionally hung up on me and a female answered "hello?". She said he wasn't able to talk to me so I said I would hold. She placed me "on hold" as in, she too, hung up on me.

I am very nice. I was being nice when I called. I was being nice when I asked for a refund. I am NOT going to be nice after being so disrespected. Perhaps he had a bad day as he probably had a lot of people calling and asking for their $15 to be refunded.

I get it that it's only $15...however, imagine how much that is adding up into HIS pocket for every person he screws out of $15! He's laughing all the way to the bank.

Also, considering how unprofessional they were over the phone and what I can only assume are unsavory business ethics, I am very concerned they have my credit card information.

 First I want to start out and say that from the very beginning of the conversation, the customer was using a lot of profanity and is one of the main reasons she was hung up on.  I tried to explain to her, and answer her question but she would not listen and persisted to curse, bad mouth me and call me names. If a customer calls demanding something or using foul language, employees are told to hang up on customers. This type of behavior is not tolerated nor will it ever be tolerated by Cheap Seat Ticket Hub.     Secondly, Cheap Seat Ticket Hub is part of the secondary ticket market. We buy concert and sporting event tickets to make a profit. Why would we sell tickets for the same price we buy the tickets? The business would be upside down. Cheap Seat ticket hub has been in business for over 4 years with an A- BBB rating. Cheap Seat Ticket Hub has established this rating by treating customers with respect and extraordinary customer service skills.    Thirdly, I would like to point out that when I was trying to explain to the customer what the $33.60 services fee (she asked about)is related to, she continued to interrupt me with profanity and demands.  The service fee is associated with another company which is the middle man that puts my company person with the tickets to the buyer of the tickets.    Lastly, another point to address with the customer is, the shipping date. The concert is around the first week of Sept. and Barbara Paetzold got her tickets on 7-29.  This is about 6-7 weeks before the concert date. Cheap Seat Ticket Hub also offers overnight shipping if the buyer preferred that method at which she declined at check out.

Delayed Shipment. Tickets may not always be available for immediate delivery, particularly in cases when the tickets have been purchased far in advance of the event in question or for certain events including but not limited to the following: all off-season orders for professional sporting leagues, concerts, and Las Vegas events tickets. While most tickets are delivered within three business days via the delivery method chosen, this does not imply a guaranteed delivery date. In these situations tickets may be marked with an estimated ship date. USER will be provided with account access information that will allow USER to view the status of USER'S order and tracking information, if available, after purchase. In the case where tracking information is not available USER may contact a representative of FULFILLER for shipment information or an estimated delivery date. Tickets will be shipped when available, and choice of an expedited delivery method does not guarantee that tickets will be shipped immediately. USER should check the order notes for the estimated delivery date.

As you can see when the buyer clicked the check out button she agreed to the above policy.

The customer is denied refund because attitude, talking with obscene profanity and also getting tickets 6-7 weeks before the concert and agreeing to the above policy.
