I wish to advise anyone who is thinking about purchasing an online airline ticket, not to use cheaptickets.com. I have been using them twice a year for the past six years, on International flights but, I will never use them again. I wont go into all the details of the ticket I had bought but, when I contacted their customer care team.. ( joke!) I was fobbed off with excuses, why I couldn't cancel my ticket and get a refund, even though they were showing a courtesy cancel on my account.

I spoke to numerous representitives, many of whom have American sounding names but, can hardly speak a word of understandable english! Growing more angry and, frustrated by the minute I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was eventually connected to a person called Peggy, having waited 25 minutes on an answering machine to speak with her. She was rude and obnoxious, trying to talk over me and, not letting me explain why I was entitled to a refund. I then asked her to connect me with their corporate office, since I was getting nowhere with her and, guess what!.. There is no direct line to their corporate office.

All you get is a voice mailbox, saying they will contact you in due course!. Well!, I have now waited longer than I am prepaired to accept and.. will now seek legal recourse. My advice for all you would be travellers is.. DO NOT! use cheaptickets.com, do it the old fashioned way if you want to travel. Go to your local travel agent, where you can talk to someone "face to face"
