Cheaptrips ACA. CHEAPTRIPS.COM cheaptrips.com ripoff, scam, deceptive practices, escalated 5 times via phone, fax and email, and no answer from corporate Cherry Hill New Jersey

I received a telemarketers call back in Feburary 05 from cheaptrips.com offering me amazing deals on flights after becoming a member for $108.95. I thought I'd give it a try given there is a 1 month cancellation policy. After recieving a membership kit I found that I could get airfare cheaper from other sites. I called to cancel immediately and sent the membership package back to New Jersey like customer service asked. The customer service number is 1 (800) 211-5119. The number I gave with this report is the number for corporate(which no one answers by the way, and you will not get a call back if you leave a message).

After a month without a credit back to my MC, I decided to give them a call. They said they'll take care of it and I should see a credit in the next billing cycle. Another month passed and no refund. I called again and went through the same charade. Still no refund. And again I called asking to speak to a supervisor. She said she'll escalate the refund to corporate and ask me to fax a letter asking for an escalation also. Still no luck. After 3 more calls I finally get the phone number for corporate. The basically told me that they gave up on the escalation and now it's between me and corporate. So I call the number and leave several messages. I'm still waiting to hear back til this day. This company should be put out of business. I'd like to file a lawsuit on behalf of all people who had problems with the unethical practices of Cheaptrips.com.
