Check Resolution Services threatening to serve summons for check fraud and to get jail time, non-compliance to Fair Debt Collection Practices kenmore New York

I received several unknown calls from this company call Check Resolutions with claiming to serve a summons. There was never information given to valid the reason of the call or possible debt collection. A demand for payment was automatically requested. I would never give my credit card information or checking account information over the phone unless it was legit. The person would leave several voice mails after 8pm and the latest they have called was 10pm. Once I would pick up the phone there would be no one on the line. After reviewing some of the Fair Collecting Practices, calling after 8pm is a violation of that, and also be threatening as well. I was never sent any documentation or anything. I've tried to request a cease and desist affidavit but still no resolution.

This is becoming to be a huge headache. I have researched online and this company has been doing the same thing to a lot of other people.
