Cheerxperience Sarah Mitchell WARNING!! Worst CHEER Gym Rancho Cordova California

I wish someone had warned me of what I was walking into. Sarah Mitchell is shunned in the Cheer World because everyone what knows what she has done and continues to do. "Sarah Mitchell gives cheer a bad name" is frequently heard. Sarah lost over 30 athletes at the end of this season(not the first time she has had a mass exodus) For the following reasons:

-the alarming amount of injuries due to poor supervision, unskilled coaches, and disregard for basic safety

-children were bullied and forced to"work through" injuries. Children were afraid to tell there parents what was really going on at the gym for fear of retribution, and found out after the fact.

-uniforms and practice wear did not arrive in time for compedition, and the uniform we finally received was a very cheap copy of what we were promised. A completely different uniform. Many parents paid for and never received other goods.

-all costs were bundled and padded with no transparency. Frequent overcharges to your credit card she had on file, getting a refund was a nightmare. She even charges your card after you leave! Many canceled their cards so it would stop.

-she repeatedly lied about opening a 2nd gym, getting new equipment etc. , when in fact it was all a ruse for her to skip out on her lease(owing thousands) to a new location. We received 2 day notice of location change. Her follies resuited in the gym

being without a spring floor for 6 weeks(causing additional injuries), parents unable to switch to the new location, having to perform in practice wear while all other clubs were appropriately in their full uniforms. Adding to an overall distrust about what was really going on.

-no one on her staff including herself have any USASF certification by level or safety training.

-she requires children to come to practice no matter how sick they are. She tells them "I don't care if you are sick"! She doesn't mind putting everyone else at risk no matter how contagious and she has been known to lie to others in an effort to hide illnesses.

-the week before summit some girls had a 27 hour mandatory practice week(during a school week)

-she doesn't understand basic USASF rules . She has to bring someone from the outside to come in and review her routines for illegal moves. And then we still had illegal moves. Even I can look at these rules and determine if it's legal for the level. It's not hard. Maybe she can't read.

I could go on and on.

This past summer, in response to a parent posting what was happening at this gym, including a txt to some parents asking them to post positive reviews to numerous websites to push down the negative ones with a prize for doing so, Sarah and her mother Lindy Mitchell filed a False Police Report accusing a mother of threatening to kill them.

Sarah Mitchell repeatedly lied under oath in he Small Claims Court case against her.

In the trial for restraining order Sarah and mother Lindy both repeatedly lied under oath. Fortunately for the victim the judge saw right through her phony claims. Even her lawyer admitted there was nothing threatening. It's all an attempt to keep people from knowing about what is really going on And that is the length she is willing to go.

Sarah Mitchell is a menace to society, no wonder she is shunned. She is also a career con artist. Just moves on to her next set of unsuspecting victims.
