Durring my vacation in Las Vegas I turned on my laptop and Cheetah Wireless somehow automatically became my home page and demanded me to use their service to login for wireless use (since nothing else would work).  After reading that it the local service provider I tried it since they claim to be the best service in Las Vegas (I was completely wrong).  After paying for the service and tried to use the compluter my hotel immediately blocked the transmission and would not let me transmitt through Cheetah on the hotel property or any others.  I immediatly called Cheetah and received a fast busy signal for over 1/2 hour when I figured I was scammed!  I then had to purchase the hotel wireless communications which wasn't a big deal since I planned on using the computer off the hotel property anyway and hoped Cheetah would work (again I was completely wrong).  After being out for a few hours I figured I'd try to call Cheetah again and was able to get thorugh.  The person on the phone was nice and told me this happens all the time (they prey on people not knowing they cannot use their services at hotels and somehow put out stronger signals to try and get people to pay before the hotel wireless kicks in) and apologized for the phones being down.

A week later I explained this same story to a new person but they were so rude I couldn't believe it.  He constantly called me a liar and told me that since I was able to login for more than a second I had to pay no matter what.

The cost of this whole experience was not much, but the way I was scamed and treated is why I felt the need to add them to this web site.  I would not want anyone on vacation to have to spend time going through this!

I hope the nice person who was honest at the company and told me of the scam finds a better company for employment!
