Child Suport Enforcement (Georgia) RUDE-NASTY-UNPORFESSIONAL-LAZY-TRIFLING-HATEFUL-SLOW--DEAF- and CRAZY!!! Atlanta, Georgia

Before I begin to document this NIGHTMARE-I would like to thank the person who came up with this idea-THANKS!!  Victims of CHILD SUPPORT finally have a place to organize!  THIS HAS GOT TO CHANGE!

This HORROR story is 17 YEARS in the making!!!  In 1995, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.  Her father wanted NOTHING to do with us.  That was his choice, but he IS going to take care of my daughter!  When she was 4 months, I went down to child support thinking I was doing the RIGHT THING for my child!

Well, a few months later, child support called me on the phone.  It seems that in order for my case to get started "there would be some things that "I" would have to do".  I was confused.  I though all I had to do was fill out the application, MAYBE go to court.  No, come to find out "I" had to go out and look for him.  Get a "VALID" address and give it to them.  After a few months of asking questions to people that we both knew, I finally found him in Union City.  I got the address and went to the house to see if he "ACTUALLY" lived there before forwarding it to these idiots.

Apparently, the same person that gave me the address told him I was looking for him.  So, my daughters father had been on the look out for me and when I stopped in front of his house to check and make sure I had everything right...FULTON COUNTY POLICE pull up.  Mind you, I had my baby in the car.  They jump out like I am Osama Bin Laden's little sister and proceed to try to lock me up.  It seems that by DRIVING BY HIS HOUSE JUST ONCE...AS PER CHILD SUPPORT INSTRUCTIONS....I AM STALKING!!!  When I told them that CS sent me, they didn't believe me at first. After pleading that my baby was in the car and that I wasn't a criminal...They let me go.  I had to promise that I would NEVER do that again.  I agreed. 

The next day I read CS the riot act.  These ignorant a*s people have ALMOST GOT ME ARRESTED!! The next correspondence that I got from them would be a letter stating that "I refused to cooperate." so they are closing my case!  I fought with child support well into 2000, 2004 to be exact.  In 2004 I lost 75% of my vision.  I had to have many surgeries.  I had to stop working.  I lost my home and EVERYTHING that I owned.  Still, I pushed on.  Finally, in late 2004 they re-opened the case. 

IMMEDIATELY, we were right back where we started.  They began to insist that "I" find my daughters father OR ELSE!!  They knew that I was getting help with the astronomical medical bills mounting and threatened to "have my medical help cut-off (medicaid) if I didn't produce him or his address!!    I couldn't believe what I was hearing!!!  They said that they could find out if I had food stamps or TANF and they would "CUT THAT OFF TOO"!  By now, I lived with my mother in Columbus,GA and had no way to get back to Atlanta...let alone to find him...so as you guessed it...CUT OFF AGAIN!!!

In talking to some people a few month later I finally obtained an advocate.  It took her months but she re-opened the case.  By now, It's 2007.  Even though the case is re-opened.  Thats just all it is.  They are making NO EFFORT to find him.   I was at the end of my rope.  I was blind...homeless..my kids shoes were too small..clothes too small...I just burst into tears.  My now 14 year old,has had enough too!  She is a very smart girl.  She took his name and ran it through all of the social media sites.  In 15 minutes she got a hit on FACEBOOK. 

I called them the next day and went BANANAS!!  HOW COULD A 14 YEAR OLD CHILD FIND SOMEONE IN 15 MINUTES THAT CHILD SUPPORT HAS BEEN LOOKING FOR FOR 14 YEARS!!  They really had no explanation at this point.  So,  the B*TCH...I mean agent that I was talking to tells me that (1) I SHOULD'VE PICKED A BETTER FATHER FOR MY CHILD (2) I NEED TO GET A JOB (3) I NEED TO STOP USING CHILD SUPPORT TO SETTLE MY PERSONAL BEEFS.....REALLY!!!???  It doesn't stop there folks....when I called to complain about what had been said to me....I got told by the "WONDERFUL" staff at 2 PEACHTREE STREET...that I will be put on "WRITE IN ONLY"  status if I continue to call.  I need to leave them alone and let them "DO THEIR JOBS"...REALLY!!!??? 

MY DAUGHTER IS ALMOST GROWN!!! WHEN DO YOU PLAN TO DO THAT!!!  FINALLY, my case was re-opened in 2008.  We went court on March 10, 2010.  He was ordered to pY $516.00.  From the gate he said he was not going to pay.  Despite the fact that I even had a DNA test done on my daughter so THERE WAS NO QUESTION.  By the years end he was over $5,000 on arrears.  For the next year (2011) it was a constant barrage of phone calls.  I have asked to speak with managers..supervisors...legal department...anyone who can help this situation.  Why do I keep getting directed to the "PORTAL".  Dam that portal.  I need a HUMAN BEING!!!  I was told by child support that 30 days after you miss a payment..you are considered in "arrears".  He was about 8 MONTHS PAST THAT!!!

I finally got fed up and contacted the office of Senator Valencia Seay.  Her office is in the state capitol building in downtown Atlanta.  After telling her assistant Lauren Randall my story, she agreed to contact  them on my behalf.  Finally,  a warrant was issued for contempt in Decmber 2011.  Almost a year later!!!  Our optimism was short lived though.  Little did I know that he would march into the COBB COUNTY OFFICE  (THE ABSOLUTE WORST) pay 1/5 of what he owes..dance right out of there...no longer in arrears....HOW!!!  I joked and said..."he must know somebody in there...THERE IS NO WAY!!!"  The warrant was lifted..and he is FREE AS A BIRD...STILL OWING ME $4,100.00 to this day...I have called CS a hundred times trying to get someone to re-instate this warrant. 

My daughter really wants to go to college and this money would really help get her off to a decent start.  This must be March..the luck of the Irish is with us...I met this lady standing in one of the lines in Wal-mart.  After describing my woes and telling her who my daughters father is...she told me this..(and I really believe that because of his "regional celebrity") he is walking up into the office.. giving away some free show tickets...taking pictures..smiling with them "CHICKENHEADS" and they don't have a problem with it.  She proceeded to tell me that Georgia frequently turns a "blind eye" to the  celebrities ( i use that term loosely) that owe money.  The problem starts at the local offices where these B*TCHES...I mean agents...are making these side deals and messing with my daughters future.

I don't get it.  If I didn't feed, clothe or care for my kids....I WOULD GO TO JAIL FOR NEGLECT...possibly even ABUSE...IF IM NOT MISTAKEN IT TOOK TWO NICKELS TO MAKE THIS DIME....So how do these DEADBEATS get the courts blessing and protection!!!  NON PAYMENT OF CHILD SUPPORT SHOULD BE CRIMINAL..WE NEED TO LEVEL THE PLAYING FIELD AND GIVE THE CUSTODIAL PARENT SOME LEGAL POWER!!!

I desperately need a LAWYER or for the MEDIA to get stories like this OUT THERE.  I give this site full permission to give my number to ATTORNEYS AND THE MEDIA!! THANK YOU
