520-455-3710: Telephone Number on Caller ID
520-423-5388: Telephone Number given as "Office Number"
888-807-7740: Telephone Number given as "Customer Service"

Phoenix, AZ: the city/state I was told their call center is located
Elgin, AZ: the city/state shown on Caller ID (near Tucson, AZ and in Tucson area code)
Cheyenne, WY: the city/state the website lists as "contact" location

Telemarketer Names Given: Aaron Anderson, Pierre Peters and Tyler Mason
pierrepeters91@gmail.com: the only email address given despite repeated requests ("Pierre" advised he had to use a gmail address to get email on his smartphone).

This is a fast-talking group of telemarketers trying to get anywhere from $195 to $495 for you to obtain an "Affiliate ID" number that will allow you to sell their credit card processing services. They claim to be in business since 1986, but that could not be verified after extensive research.

An assortment of telemarketing pressure tactics and promises were used to have me pay money on the spot, through a credit card. This includes being passed to 3 different person within 45 minutes. The first qualified, the second used information spiels and a buddy/buddy approach The third used intimidation tactics.

What they want you to do:
1) Pay money to become an "Affiliate ID" holder ($195 - $495)
2) As an "Affiliate ID" holder you can market their credit card processing services to businesses.
3) Provide them with Names and telephone numbers for small/medium size businesses
4) They will call the businesses and sell them services

What they claim they will do for you:
1) Train you and give you a business coach
2) Set you up with a corporate website login
3) Provide you with a website
4) "Put you on the payroll" (but you will be a 1099 contractor)
5) Pay $500 for every credit card process machine installed, plus 1% ongoing residuals
6) Make you an exclusive agent within a 75 mile radius of your zip code

At first this sounded pretty good (perhaps because I wanted it to), but in short order I realized this was a scam to get my money and credit card information.

I did a fast search while I was on the phone with them and noticed a number of references to a company called "Economic Freedom Corp". There were some very negative reports on EFC and that they closed their doors and became My Choice Business Services aka Choice Business Services aka CBS. The last person I spoke with (Tyler Mason) denied any affiliation, but quickly became indignant after I mentioned this and said "thanks for wasting my time".

I suggest steering clear of this company. Their idiotic claims and references to give themselves credibility can't be justified, but they expect you to buy their lines and give them your money. It's my guess that all your buying is heartache and hot air.

I got scammed by these dirty birds too. Fortunately I was able to recover my money by hiring a company called CR Consumer Resources. They have some serious ammo against these companies and they recovered my total investment that was put on my credit cards. If you want your money back, I'd give them a call if I were you. I cant believe I was so fortunate. The number is 888-563-5558 http://www.crconsumerresources.com

New Scams, Same company...possibly AKA .. Big Action Media

AUTHOR: stopthesecrooks - (United States of America)

This company claimed to be a partner of Amazon.com. They were very vague, but talked so quickly that I fell for this whole scam!

While they said nothing about credit card services... the pricing was the same $195-$495.

They promise to set up a website for you, and you can list items they buy at wholesale, and list them for the price YOU want.  Then when someone buys thru your site... you are mailed a check for the profits. (Yes, you are a "contractor" and must file a 1099.) That is the bottom line. Oh, and the website costs $19.95/mo to maintain which is billed thru VIPPlus out of AZ.

The "start-up" costs were dependent on how many "categories" you wanted to offer on your site. I believe it was like so:  3 categories = $195,  6= $299,  and then 12= $495. Of course I selected 12, so that's what I remember best. They offered a $495 Money-Back Guarantee if you don't make your money back in 12 months. ... (With the exception of $19.95/mo non-refundable charges for the website hosting).

There was supposed to be a business coach that was going to call me back and set up the site. I have not heard from anyone... other than the 3rd party verification company that called to verify my purchase.

The first guy (Shawn??) tried to act like he was my buddy, but stumbled over his words and couldn't answer my questions... so He put his smooth talking boss on the phone (Eric??) to close the deal. He had an answer (believeable) for everything I asked!!!

Now.... they gave me a website that I could see as an "example" of what my site would be like.  www.ecommercedirectsales.com  under "Products".  BUT.... I was billed the $495 by Big Action Media. So I really don't know WHAT COMPANY they are!

If you go thru the ecommerce site... under the login... it redirects you to an Amazon-Affiliate page, which I went to after the fact. So for a while, I believed it was legit.  I'm filing for a dispute thru my bank. I hope it works out.

Don't be tempted to say yes! It's NOT worth the headaches!!! Now I'm also paranoid about major charges, and identity theft.. etc.  They had all my info...name, phone, email... street address...a few other things.  BEWARE!

Investigating fraud in Arizona These two do answer there phones and except your email.  So the more complaints the better for justice.  They are presently watching and collecting complaints on the scumbags.  I have spoken to both of them.

Thanks for the Verification

AUTHOR: tmw775 - (USA)

Good Dad - thanks for the verification and vigilance on this company!

I got a call from somebody in a Las Vegas call center today. Besides complaining about her Arizona counterparts, she tried the buddy/buddy routine until I told her I simply was not going to pay any money, then she got nasty and hung-up.

This is a bad group of people. There are no gray areas here.... stay away from them !

I just hope people find this and all the other webpages written about them before more innocents get scammed.

Again, good job !!

You are 100% right!

AUTHOR: Good Dad - (United States of America)

Thanks  for  posting  the  warning.  I got  scammed  by  EFC a  yr. ago and  try  to  make  others  aware.  It  is  criminal,  but  they  have  expensive  lawyers purchased  w/  victims'  money,  and  big  houses  also.  Very true  the  worst scammers,  and we  traced  the  owner C. Foerster from  EFc to MS enterprises  and MCBS.  They  have  injured MANY  seniors  and good  folks  of  all  ages  and  nationwide.  Sounds  like  you  were  smart  not  to  buy in.  The  next  step  would  have  been  the  buddy  buddy  coach  wanting  Thousands  for  totally  useless  leads,  and with  all the  promises  comes  a  NO  guarantee / no  refund  contract  which  is  their  bait  and switch loop  hole  that  helps  them  to  win  the  disputes.

HOW  is  completely  closing  EFC  and  hiding  as  mcbs  not  FRAUD? Check  out  many  of  my  postings  on  the  other  EFc and  websites4america  scams,  and  watch  the  3 on  your  side  news  report  of 3  months  ago.
