This is door to door sales. 100% commission Do NOT be fooled. Patrick is a liar I applied for a marketing and pr position. Got a call from Patrick to come in for a half hour interview - said I would meet with the hiring director. I came in the next day to find 6 other people in the lobby for this same interview. Him and another guy cycles through the applicants every ten minutes. Patrick then called my name. Entire interview was ten minutes. He asked if I was 18, had a car, had a background and what my hobbies were. I was very skeptical but was reassured they did marketing and pr for Verizon and staples. I asked if it was sales and he said no - pr and customer service. I got invited back for a second but was a little skeptical. I looked at their website but couldn't load the page. I then googled them and saw ripoff reports on how this was door to door sales. I then emailed Patrick and asked about the rip off reports, if this was door to door and if this is commission? He replied saying ripoff reports was a scam and had me google some link. He then said this was not residential, house to house or door to door. He also said it was not commission. It a base salary of 35k plus bonuses. I should of known then but I really needed a job and pr is my major. I came in a "full day observation" and was paired up with a guy on Verizon. We drove out to largo and proceeded to "sign up" this office building for Internet and phone service. This is 100% SALES. There is no pr. No marketing. No customer service involved. The rep then went through some management training program and talked about how this a commission based job. I asked about the 35k base salary when he said they had a base option of 300 a week but that's everyone did commission. I then asked about the customers if they knew we were coming and he said no. This is 100% cold calling - door to door sales. Every single question I asked I was lied to by Patrick. Here is his actual response "The position is as discussed earlier. We do not do residential, house to house, door to door, or whatever it is called nowadays. Salary is also as listed, negotiable. This normally will start at $35,000 per year before bonuses and go up, based on negotiations and experience. The posts also are questionable since it states our company name is our web address domain, and not our actual business name." Don't worry pat rick. - got this one right. choice marketing concepts. Ripoff isn't a scam, you are
