I worked with Chris Bridge and Sandra Lomeli as their administrative support staff at Williams-Sonoma Corporate Headquarters in 1997. Shortly after being transferred from another position into their food buyer group, I requested to be transferred out because I found Chris Bridge to be a jerk. He was a spoiled 27 year old at the time, newly promoted into the Food Buyer position. He had no college degree. They gave him a leased BMW with a sunroof, and sent him on trips to Italy.

I'd come in on the weekends to work hard and wasn't getting paid overtime as an hourly employee. I was giving them 100% and they were taking full advantage, even asking me to be a photographer for their products at their stores. I wasn't getting reimbursed within reasonable timeframes for my film expenses, etc. I started out as a temporary and never got a vacation for the year I had worked there.

I was a 37 year old woman at the time. It was humiliating enough to have to work for a spoiled 27 year old, and do his manual labor work lifting heavy product boxes when product samples came in, having to arrange them in a special show room, etc. It was equally humiliating to be made fun of by the V.P. of retail for riding an economical motor scooter to work. I was repeatedly teased about my means of transportation.

I wanted to report that Chris Bridge, who had a case filed against him shortly after my departure for Fraud and Breach of Contract (for on-line viewing of case type in Bridge, Chris at http://www.sftc.org committed perjury against me in a court document this company filed against me in 1997. Mr. Bridge lied claiming I had followed him on his way home on my scooter the day of my termination. The fact was, I was in front of him on my scooter, not behind him, as I had been picking up a second scooter I had had on the company property. Mr. Bridge accused me of playing a "cat and mouse" game with him in my stalking him on my scooter.

This court document filed against me by Williams-Sonoma was due to my initial complaint of the V.P. of Retail puttng his hands on me without my consent, coming up from behind me and placing his hand on my shoulder, and also about not signing my expense reports and humiliating me about my riding a scooter to work. They investigated my complaint and stated I had no credibility. After I left the company, they promoted a woman who then committed further purjury against me, accusing me of trying to run her over with my motor scooter one day while I was still working at the company. This company retaliated for my sexual harassment complaint I did not submit in a professional manner. WS carried it way too far with huge depositions when there was no crime committed and I wasn't even escorted off the property. They caused their employees to feel perjuring themselves was appropriate to resolve the issue with my former complaint.

Mr. Bridge was fully defended by his company for the Fraud/Breach of Contract filed against him. He was given a BMW, trips to Italy, on-site girlfriend, and his company defended him from his errors. Yet, look at what they did to me? Didn't sign my expense report for a month, didn't pay me overtime as an hourly employee (I had to make a special request after termination for this payment that they finally agreed to as $1,200), asked me to be a photographer for their production information for retail managers across the country. I was pad a salary of $32,000.

And then they hit me with a huge 500 foot Restraining Order, and I was employed for a wealthy couple at the time. This jerk Chris Bridge lied after I had worked hard for him and the department. Fact was, they had enough evidence from my written material for an R.O., they didn't have to get people to actually lie and perjure themselves in the process, incriminating themselves. Totally unnecessary. Any company can easily get a restraining order and don't have to get 5 depositions and pay thousands of dollars with a huge lawsuit over a few non threatening letters to a former employee.
