Not so long ago, I went to this person to have a computer made for me because he specializes in that. When I did, I was less than pleased but hey, it was cheep and it worked. I heard about him from a friend of a friend that had worked on there system before. Sometime having a computer made is better than bying one, i figured, because its cheeper. how wrong I was.

Within a month i started having problems getting online and getting into non-web based programs like Windows media player. The keyboard locked up and i could not use word. One day I was in the middle of something and the whole d**n thing just went down. I tried to reboot but kept getting a ckdsk message (or something like that). I called the help number that he gave me with the set up disk ( I should have realized that something was wrong when it was a burned cd with the xp set up but I am stupid for that...) and was told that I had a bootleg xp system! there was nothing I could do but purchase a real one and start over. I did, and figured it would still be cheeper than getting a whole new system. Later though the keyboard stopped working and the monitor went haywire. I had to buy all this anyway. THEN the big one...the memory card went out and the system was just trashed. I spent over 500 for this junk. I have tried to contact him but all numbers have been disconnected. Please don't buy a computer from Chris. He will rip you off.

I Lost my Klingon Stuff

AUTHOR: J - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, July 14, 2005

I too was ripped-off by Chasson. After he worked on my PDA, I was unable to read my e-books- in particular, my copy of the Klingon "Hamlet" was so distorted it looked like demotic Vulcan! He also drank my beer and asked me to buy various sports affiliated hats and jerseys.
All of the phone numbers I had stored from the Babylon 5 convention (from hot chicks) were unreadable; only the 555 prefixes remained unchanged!

When I discovered this, I wet myself. My Captain Kirk commemorative chair was stained and ruined, and the furry tribble decor remained a pile of hairy slush. I was paralyzed with anger (like Captain Pike).

The only good thing that came of it were some really good deals on some stuffed animals for the girlfriend I hope to have someday. *this is where my date should be typing* My costume is soiled, my computer a heap of space trash, and I am sitting here looking at a Tickle Me Elmo that is giving me a come hither look.

I swore no more after the last incident at the orphanage. I just keep the underwear for decoration... I'm off my medication...Can I trade a slightly damaged tribble for a valium?

#1 Consumer Suggestion

he took you for a ride. but you can fix him

AUTHOR: David - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, June 05, 2005

wow that sucks.

if you had a copy of xp most likely it was not registered to you. and after 30 days if you do not register windows xp it shuts it self,i have xp Professional and when i installed it on my pc i had registered it in my name.

so he took you for a ride.

but you can fix him

contact microsoft corp give them all the info and they will go after him for making illegal copys of windows xp. he has to buy a license agreement for each pc he sells but most likely he is useing 1 xp disc for multiple Computers and thats illegal!!

so i am pretty sure he is issuing illegal copys call microsoft or email them i bet they would love to talk to him. and that 500$ you spent on that P.O.S he would lose to fight the legal battle becuase of copy right Copyright Infringement he is committing.

now back in the days when small pc shops could use windows 98 on multiple computers they could get away with it because you did not have to reg win 98, but xp needs to be acvated with in 30 days or it shuts down.

GoodLuck....

report him so he can lose business.....
