Chris Guziak Jill Guziak, promoted a real estate deal cheating me out of thousands Laguna Beach, California

Beware of Chris Guziak of Sotheby's Laguna Beach http://www.sothebysrealty.com/eng/associate/180-a-819-4013729/chris-guziak and his wife Jill who owns a consulting company called Reid Sebly  www.reidselby.com/asp/aboutjill.asp.  They live the good life driving fancy cars, living in an ocean view home with a nanny for their kids, but took advantage of a friend for thousands on a real estate scheme.  Chris is a residential broker and brought a rehab project to me insisting it was his area of experties and we(he, his wife and myself)  would make a lot of money. 

I advanced them almost $5,000 in good faith towards the project with an assurance that if it did not go through they would reimburse me.  Like many of their schemes, this one failed and when I asked for the money back  of course the story changed, calls were not returned, promises to pay me back were made with deadlines that came and went.  During the time he could not afford to pay me back he did however find the time to take a week off and go to the superbowl, bragging about how expensive the tickets were.

I took them to court and got a judgement.  They did not pay.  Chris was called back into court and did not show up, so he currently has a bench warrant against him.  I filed a wage claim and was shocked to find that I am in-line behind more than $200,000 of liens on his salary ranging from unpaid taxes to unpaid child support.  Meanwhile again-ocean view home, nannies, and he drives a mercedes G500.

Jill is no better because she was given numerous chances to step in and take responsibility and instead she ignored requests to work together and the court order against her.

Steer clear of them both, they are dishonest and will spend your money to promote their lifestyle.
