 Chris Mathews has declared on live television that MSNBC is planning to announce that Hillary Clinton will have won the democratic race during the California Primaries. They will be justifying this announcement by adding Super Delegate promises to Clinton's actual pledged delegate count. NBC is most certainly aware that one can not win the democratic nomination unless one reaches a total of 2,383 pledged delegates which is mathematically impossible for either candidate to reach before the convention. Super delegates as stated by the DNC should not be counted or added to a candidates delegate count until July. July is when Super Delegates actually submit their vote. Any other speculation of Super Delegate votes are simply that, speculation determined from polls. The fact that Chris Mathews has stated that MSNBC is planning to declare a winner during the California primaries, the most important primary in the democratic election, could make one think that the network is attempting to mislead and influence voters that a vote for Sanders is irrelevant due to the fact that Clinton has already been declared the winner. This inaccurate information could also lead to a lower voter turn out. I believe it is unethical for any network to report inaccurate information to it's viewers especially when they know this information to be false.
