I answered an ad on Craigslist for a copier/fax/scanner. Was promised a great used unit but was delivered a machine that did not work. The machine is in disrepair and costs more to repair than what it is worth.

He always demanded payment up front including sending his wife and child to pick up funds in time of need. They were supposedly broke in need of money. She would then proceed to go and find the quickest way to cash my personal checks and not follow through with what she and her husband Chris Menera would promise. Mr. Menera told me how you used to make a lot of money, however business had dropped off considerably and he was just a hardworking guy trying to make a living. Works on sympathy so he can get paid in advance. After reading all of the posts regarding people Mr. Menera scammed, I called him and informed him that I did not want to do any further business with him because I found out he was a fraud and that I I would be reporting his scam to anyone and all that will listen. He needs to be stopped from taking more innocent victims hard earned money! He is dishonest, unreliable, and a fraud! Beware of his wife Claudia Menera as well.
