Found Chrome Express/Dave Parks/Goldlmama24 on e-Bay under "chrome plating". Promised the best chrome plating for a great price. I shipped parts via UPS. He got parts (polished aluminume for a Big Dog Motorcycle) four days later, called me with a price to chrome all items ($480). Said parts will be done and shipped in three days-stayed on phone with me until he recieved payment via PayPal. Said to me "wow what did you use to polish these, they look great.

When you tell peope who chromed them, make sure they know that you're parts were in perfect conditon which makes them chrome that much better". Here's the juicy parts. He never called me back, I had to chase him down repeadly-left multilple phone message and e-mails-to find out where my parts were. Kept telling me, running a day behind, they'll ship tomorrow I'll call you with a tracking number. Heard this for two months.

Eventually he ignored me all together. I got more that irritated to say the least. I live in Boston and he's in NC so I booked a flight for a Wed. and left him a message saying that if I didn't have my parts by then, I would be there to pick them up in person. Well to my suprise I suddenly recieved a package via USPS (please keep in mind I prepaid for UPS and insurance). The packing job was so bad, the box broke open and spilled out-the parts were'nt even wrapped!!!

The post office contacted me and said I had to come and pick them up---oh yea, they were shipped uninsured with the cheapest rate (10 day) shipping rate. I looked the parts over-not only did they look like complete s@#t, some were missing!! I called right away (got his answering machine of course) and told him about the post office ordeal and how bad the parts were and that some were missing. I said "this is a joke, I want a refund and the rest of my part".

Wow did he call back then! I told him I took pictures and would be happy to send them to him. Here we go again, NOW I waiting for the rest of my parts--finally I left him negative feedback on e-Bay. Why not, what was I gonna lose. He responded to that. Said something stupid like "why do you want them back if my chroming is so bad". Said he would only ship if I removed my feedback. What an idiot! I reminded him that he was messaging me through e-Bay!!!

That changed his story, now he was sorry, sometimes things get past him, poor help, etc. I got my parts after this. However, they were even worse than the first part. Looked like he rushed them. There was so much chrome on on part, I had to grind it down to make it fit halfway decently. Well at anyrate, he tried to get e-Bay on his side because my feedback read "Horrible chrome, e-mail for pictures and story". I was quickly contacted by many of his unhappy customers.

If you're reading my story, it will come as no suprise that his actions led to him being banned from e-Bay. Since all this has been going on, I have been in contact with many of his customer's, some I've formed an internet friendship with keeping up with their hopes of getting their parts back some day. I suggested to Don U. in FL that he tell his story on this site in hopes of getting somewhere with Dave (I'm sure you've read his story here).

Now I see that Dave is refrerencing me here ---I am the 'gentleman' with the pictures that he says are taken in bad light, the back sides, etc. Well, this suprises me none. He is like a fish out of water. He is treading water like you would't believe. I end with this, If you want to see my pictures or his e-mails, please just ask ( You can judge for yourself. Lastly, Dave Parks-you need to give up on this one. Your work sucks and I have the proof.

You lost your e-Bay privlidge because you have ripped of one too many people. I told you not to screw me over; you tried and you lost. It's time for you to move on and "learn" a new trade. To all those out there still waiting for your parts, I wish you the best of luck. Thanks for reading and please BEWARE of this guy!!!!
