got food poisoning...old chicken and old grease. They offered zero concern or helpful satisfaction.
I also ordered individual chicken strips which have ALWAYS come with a biscuit. I always order f strips and four biscuits for $1.29 each.
They have stopped offering the biscuits with the strips yet they didn't reduce the price of the strips. Now biscuit MUST be ordered separately and for extra money. The size of the chicken strips have been reduced to maybe 2-3 small bites as well.
When I got home and found no biscuits I immediately called to complain that they forget the biscuits. The attendant was rude and contrary and didn't care to apologize for the inconvenience and made zero attempt to make the order right.

I recommend EVERYONE in that are to STOP patronizing the Churches Chicken at Walnut and Shiloh Rd.
The service has gone down hill and the quality of the food has also gone to heck in a handbasket.

Poor customer servce.

I agree that food service is quite poor these days. I recevied negative comments on my Pizza Hut complaint. Somebody told me to read your complaint. I think that they did you wrong. Did you visit your doctor yet? That is about the only way you can prove that you became ill afterwards.

Doctor

Did you go see a doctor and get a diagnosis of food poisoning or did you diagnose yourself?  It could have been a million different things that were making you ill. As for the rest, welcome to the new economy. Inflation is forcing many retailers to reduce portion sizes to remain profitable. Its happening all throughout the grocey stores.

You were poisoned with bad food, or not enough food?  Or, they did not give you enough bad food?

Venting

AUTHOR: Ed - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, September 26, 2011

FYI....
When I wrote this report I had just received my order via drive thru...I specifically asked if the order was correct and was told, yes, the biscuits and gravy were in the sack, so I didn't bother looking.I drove almost ten miles home before setting down for dinner. When i opened the sack the only thing in it were the chicken strips. Everyone knows how irritating it is to be told the order is all there only to find out AFTER driving home that it was in fact, NOT correct. I was pissed and so I vented...
I've been going to this location for some time now and they have occasionally got the order wrong, but when told about thier mistake have always made an effort to correct it or at least come to a satisfactory conclusion.
The day I became sick with food poisoning, this was the only thing I had eaten all day so it was the only place I could have picked up the bad food. I understand about them not admitting to the possibility of being responsible. I would not have pursued any legal action against them but they needed to know that they can not allow there food to go bad.
I was venting and felt completely justified by filing this report.

Walnuts and fast food joints seem to make a bad pair. This joint on a street called Walnut and Joltin Jospeh Junior's KFC in Walnut Creek. One more's the hat trick.

While I don't see a ripoff

AUTHOR: Vimot - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, September 25, 2011

I agree with the OP that fast food companies seem to be downsizing portions these days. I remember when you bought an Arby's roast beef sandwich it was a SANDWICH! Now it seems little more than a roast beef biscuit. For me, it is a waste of time complaining about it - I just don't go to Arby's much anymore. When I do go I understand I'm buying a roast beef biscuit. As for food poisoning, well it's been said many, many times on this board that you have to have solid proof of that (you don't seem to have anything that would stand up in court or you would've pursued that course of action). If they offered concern or helpful satisfaction(?) they would've implicated themselves in a baseless food poisoning claim. What was the inconvenience? How were they to make the order right when it was already right? You stated that they stopped offering the biscuits with the strips.
It's not up to you to convince everyone to stop patronizing them, it's up to YOU to stop patronizing them. If their food and prices and service are as bad as you claim they'll hang themselves without any help from you.
