Ciami Of Ormond calling over and over, hanging up when I answer Ormond Beach Florida

So 5:30 yesterday afternoon it started again.{yes I did wait for the click.} I also worked in a call center during college.
So in a very sweet voice I said "hello" And lo and behold a live person decided to speak. I stopped her speil and informed her that I wanted to be taken off her call list. due to the amount of hangups i had been getting. I was assured that this would happen.
15 minutes later they called and hungup again I got no less than 10 calls with hangups from them last night. I have reported them to the phone company and if they call today I can press charges with the ploice for harrasement.
The latest call last night was at 11:46.

Sometimes when a computer dialer is working, when the phone is picked up and the computer determines that it is not an answering machine, then it will click to put the call center worker on the line.

I didn't know about that and had the same problem before until a friend of mine who works in a call center informed me about the auto dialer and that maybe also why it keeps calling back so much, the comp is programmed to call until it gets someone on the line with the employee.
