I read my credit card statement online and noticed there is a $12.95 temp charge from a cic ce credit report. I clicked back to see other statements and found out it started before April 2007! I could not get statement earlier than that date online so it is likely I have been charged for two years.

I hated myself for not looking at my statement carefully but I never ever ordered anything from the company or left my credit card number on their website! I googled it and found so many similar victims. I was trying to call my credit card company to stop them. I am skeptical about the result after reading the posts here, but all I hope now is to stop them from billing me.

Anyone who is interested in filing a joint law suit please counts me in. I consider that money in the drain now but will continue to fight this scam company.

I got some useful tips on the Internet and called them this morning. It worked in 5 minutes!
Here are some tips: first, make sure you get a name and employee ID. some will tell you that they do not have an ID, but yes they do. Tell them that you are recording the call. Some will say no, but that alreay got their attention. I recorded my call anyway for my personal reference. Insist on a cancellation and full refund. Be polite but persistent, and do not let them distract you. The person I talked to let me hold for a minute and said yes to everything I asked! I also insisted on getting a confirmation number which I got in email an hour later.

I never needed to use the following tips, but you may find it helpful:
If they say no, let them know that you are willing to get your bank/credit card company involved, and you will report this to BBB. Then tell them you will file an complaint to FTC (Federal trade commission), and contact your local atterney general. Also let them know if possible that you will contact other victims from website like this one and consumer complaints board. I was really determined to do all of those if they did not give my money back. I will check my account in 10 days.
