I, like many others, was charged $79.95 by CIC and I didn't remember ordering from them. It turns out that when you order a free credit report off of consumerinfo.com, there's some fine print that signs you up for a 30-day trial membership with CIS. If you don't call to cancel it, they automatically withdraw the fee from the account you signed up with.

I called CIC at 1-877-513-4175 and spoke with a representative (I just picked the first option on their automated system). I explained the situation and asked for a refund and that they cancel my membership. She said they would fully refund me and that I should pay attention to the fine print next time.
So try calling them if you can. I should have my refund in 3 days.
