I have never even heard of these people yet they seem to have found access to my checking account. I did request a free credit report from freecredit.com last month and now I am being charged $14.95 a month for a service I haven't asked for and do not need. This is infuriating.

Your 'free' credit report...

AUTHOR: Striderq - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, July 12, 2008

By federal law you are authorized one free credit report per year. Some states require more than one. You can get that report by contacting the credit bureaus or by going to annualcreditreport.com. by going to freecreditreport.com and asking for the report you did agree to their credit monitoring service. This is the monthly fee. Contact them and ask them to cancel and refund your money. If that doesn't work, contact your bank and dispute the charges.
