CIC Triple Advantage Aka Freecreditrepot.com CIC Triple advantage ripping people off! Irvine California

I tried the CIC Triple advantage for Free they said. I called & canceled it in Aug 07. The guy on the phone told me that there was new information posted to my credit report & to print off a copy of it. I said OK I will. He assured me that it would be canceled.

I didn't notice it till now because the amount is so small that they have been charging me all this time! I called them up & they (Brian if that's his real name.) told me that the guy I talked to in Aug 07 told me to look at my credit report & print a copy off (I didnt do that back then because I already had a copy of my report) I told him I didn't have to look at my report if I didn't want to. He explained that is the reason it wasn't canceled!

I told him I want a refund of all my money they charged my account. He said he couldn't give me a refund that I had to write to a consumer relations group. I told him that was unacceptable, they had charged my account without my permission. I told him he needed to listen to the recorded conversation I had back in Aug 07 as to my canceling my membership.

I asked to talk to a supervisor. He supposedly went to get one, when he came back he said they were all in a "meeting". I told him that's ridiculous that they would not want to talk to one of their customers! He then said he would charge back 1 month & cancel my membership! I told him I wanted all of my money not just $12.00. They charged me for 7 months without my permission that's $84!! He said I needed to fax 949 567 3858 or write to consumer relations group Po Box 19729 Irvine Ca 92623-9729. I asked what his supervisors name was, he said Alan. I asked for employee numbers but he refused to give them to me. Our conversation ended.
I think someone should get a class action lawsuit together on these people!! Total ripping people off!! Stealing from people is all it is. Why hasn't the Attorney General do anything?

I am going to fax this consumer place & see what happens.
