Cingular Wireless RIPOFF Lied to, Cheated, Ripped Off, Sent to Collection Atwater California

I am HIGHLY interested in a Class-action lawsuit (or pursuing any available legal options) against Cingular.

I'm being billed for some ridiculous amount (~530$) for the use of 2 phone lines for less than one month. I saw on the website at time of activation and confirmed by phone prior to my cancellation, that they had a 30-day money back trial period for new accounts. I CONFIRMED THIS BY PHONE WITH ONE OF THEIR AGENTS BEFORE I CANCELLED IT. THEY HAVE A RECORD OF MY

CALL. Now they are denying it, telling me that the 30-day trial went into effect just a week after I cancelled, and they've now sent my bill to collections.

Talked to Romero X at 4pm on Monday Dec 13th. Call was escalated to the floor manager on duty.

They said that their 30 day trial period didn't go into effect until November 15th, and that I had cancelled on the 9th.

(October 15th to Nov 9th) Unfortunately I filled out the contract online, where I remeber being surpised and releived to see that there was a 30-day trial period with my account. As it was done online, I do not have a hard copy of the page.

I told the floor manager that I had been informed by their customer svce dept on Nov 2nd that if I cancelled within 30 days and it had only been 3 weeks) that I would be eligible to recieve all fees except for my monthly usage charges for the initial month. They have a record of this call.

I spoke to Connie Comeaux on Dec 23rd. She listened to my story and told me she was escalating it to her 3rd tier manager. I was notified that I would recieve a call in regards to the matter.

1/5/2005 received phone call from collection agency.
Called Cingular again; got Sheltra on phone (in Louisiana); escalated to Gordon Gallet. Call was disconnected while I explained situation.
