When choosing a plan and features for my new cell phone, cingular's wireless internet package is MEdia Net. When it comes to choosing the plan you are shown all the different MEdia Basic charges and limits. https://www.cingular.com/media/media_net_purchase
For their internet charge/limit it is labeled "MEdia Net". So it seems like webspace within their "MEdia Net site". So I guess that means unlimited internet access on my phone, because there is no description of "MEdia Net" on the ordering site.
I then recieve my second bill and I have am charged $58.05 for 11,653 billed kb for this thing called Internet Xpress. Where did this come from i don't remember ever reading "Internet Xpress" when i ordered this package.
So I feel I was mislead by this. You are charged for everything from viewing to downloading. This isn't what it said signing up it only said "MEdia Net - charges". This gives the message that the use of the "MEdia Net" WAP is where the charge is not the whole internet.
I will pay my dues, but I'm complaining because of the lack of description on what you are paying for. Which I felt was misleading.

The Internet Express is an Expired Package
AUTHOR: Charlene - (U.S.A.)

I have been having the same problem, I thought I was signing up for media basic with 1MB and I got signed up for Media Basic Internet Express which is only 512KB that can be used within ten minutes of being on the internet. I call them and ask why my bill says I only have 512KB and not 1MB and am put on hold because I have an expired package so they are going to switch and I better not have to pay for both or they and my local Attorney General will be hearing from Me.
