Circuit City The extended warranty for TV is a scam. Do not shop at circuit city. ripoff Lake Grove New York
*Consumer Comment: Didn't you read the extended warranty terms before purchase?
*UPDATE Employee: at least you got something ...
I have an extended protection plan on my Philips plasma tv. It has been giving me problems with the sound. Circuit City did send a vender to look at the set. The tech did not know what the problem could be and suggested it might have to go to the shop. I visited the venders place of business and the man in charge told me Philips was difficult with parts and it could take weeks. I called Circuit City consumer relations at 1-888-615-8156 and got no satisfaction. They should send a tv to my home while i'm waiting for mine to be repaired. In closing the extended service plan is just a scam to get more money from! Don't shop Circuit City.

Why would you purchase anything without knowing what you were buying. Had you read the terms of the extended warranty, you would know that it does not give you a replacement while yours is getting repaired.
Actually, I don't know of any warranties that offer that.
It sounds to me like you are getting your TV repaired, or you are able to. So I don't understand what your gripe is.
