Circut City ripoff Boise Idaho

I purchased a notebook computer on feb 28 2004 and was given the information to submit for the rebate from both circut city and HP. I recieved the rebate from HP with no problem but circut city sent me a letter stating that my postmark date was to late, 04/04/2004. At the time I purchased the computer, I was not told of any restriction on submission for the rebate, and I sent both rebate requests at the same time.

Talking to the representatives has be to no avail, with no help at all. It seems real strange that hewlit packard would honor their portion of the rebate, ($100) and circut city would have a different time span for their share, $150.00 The only reason I waited to submit was to ensure the computer was living up to the spec's they advertised.

At no point was I told of a limit on time for submission, and most companies I have dealt with have had a least 60 days from purchase. This sounds to me like a standard ripoff from a big corp. The amount owed to me is as stated above:$150.00.
