Lease Finance Group, CIT THESE PEOPLE ARE INSANE. Rip-off! Chicago Illinois

I was referred to CIT by my merchant provider where I leased a credit card machine. I signed an non cancelable non negotionable 4 year lease (which was fine)

To insure that my credit would not be adversely affected by late payments which sometime occur due to oversight, I filled out the paperwork necessary to have this company charge my credit card each month for the $80.00 lease payment which was due

Right off the bat things got haywire I received collections calls several times a day stating they had not received my payment, I would spend literally hours on the phone attempting to speak to someone regarding why they had not simply charged my credit card as previously agreed.

Finally I was connected with someone that stated that they needed for me to sign another credit authorization which I did (several times over the next few months)

Any ways in June of 2004 I once again noticed that they were not charging me. I contacted the collections dept and updated all my contact information I then had to fax in another credit payment authorization (it seems whenever they screw up they need another authorization) any ways they were to charge my past due amount and then the $80.00 each month thereafter

Here I am in December 2004, I applied for a line of credit for my business and was declined. The reason was Lease Finance Group had reported me as 3 times and 90 days past due. I had not received one call or invoice or collection notice since June

I spent over an hour open the phone with CIT attempting to find someone who could explain what happened so that we could fix my credit. I. Finally was able to speak with a guy . I asked what happened to my account and he stated that the account had been charged off and sent to a collection agency, I asked why this had happened and he told me I should have paid my d**n bills (his words) and that it is my own fault this happened. I tried to find out why they just didn't charge my credit card which had more than enough to cover the transaction , he refused to tell me or transfer me to anyone who could explain what had happened. he did let m know that my account had been charged off and sold to another collection agency. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said it is my fault I didn't pay my bills and he wouldn't transfer me.

I then informed him that if he did not transfer me I would call back and file a complaint with his supervisor his response was (I have your address you better watch your back) CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS?

Any ways I called back several times only to be hung up on as soon as anyone found out who I was. I was able to get a hold of one lady who informed me that this guy had written in my accounts notes that I had threatened HIS life (which I assume is why everyone kept hanging up on me afterwards) and while on the phone with this lady the jerk who threatened me called called me. I answered it once and he told me I needed to pay him (which is illegal since he had already sold the account to someone else) I hung up on him to continue talking to the lady on the other line and he actually called me 13 additional times (which I did not answer)

needless to say, not only was I threatened by staff of this company and insulted for not paying a bill I was unaware even needed paid, but they charged off my account filed several negative credit reports and sent me to collections without even as much as a call or collection letter. And when I tried to call in to fix this situation I was repeatedly hung up on and ignored

Now in my own defense I have 3 business that I own, I have over a hundred auto debits per month. I was completely unaware that they were not charging me until I got the credit application declined. I did not even get one call from them notifying me me that i needed to send in a payment. I know they had my number because the jerk called me 14 times
